She Left the CEO and Reclaimed Her Empire

Chapter 475

Two days later, at noon, Camille and Damien were heading to the cafeteria for lunch when her phone suddenly rang.

It was a call from Damien.

Camille saw the caller ID and hesitated briefly before answering.

"Hello?"

"Grandma's awake."

Joy surged through Camille's heart.

She responded, "I'll be right there."

"Alright."

After ending the call, she turned to Declan, who stood waiting beside her.

"Sorry, something urgent came up—I can't join you for lunch."

Declan glanced at her phone screen, recognizing the importance of the call.

"No problem."

Camille nodded and hurried away.

When she arrived at the hospital, Damien, Chloe, Selene, Lydia, Marcus, and others were already gathered.

As she entered, Chloe rushed into her arms.

Damien also turned to look at her, then redirected his attention to Helena.

"Grandma, Camille is here."

Hearing that Camille had arrived, Helena smiled weakly and tried to focus on the doorway.

Camille stepped forward and took her hand.

"Grandma."

Helena gently patted her hand, attempting to speak, but before any words could form, she slipped back into unconsciousness.

Camille panicked.

"Grandma—"

Damien gently placed a hand on her shoulder, offering comfort.

"Grandma just woke up."

"Her condition is still unstable, and she has very little energy."

"The doctor said this is normal—nothing to worry about."

Camille let out a sigh of relief, though Helena's pale complexion made her fear it might be a final rally before the end.

She asked, "What's the current situation...?"

Damien replied, "Although her condition isn't fully stabilized yet, the doctor believes she will gradually improve."

With those words, the heavy weight on Camille's heart finally eased.

After a while, to avoid disturbing Helena's rest, everyone—including Camille and Damien—left the ward.

Most of them, whether Selene or Damien, had received the news of Helena waking up while on their way to lunch.

None of them had eaten yet.

Marcus had been particularly busy with work and had only visited Helena twice during her coma.

This time, he had taken extra days off to stay.

Seeing that everyone still hadn't eaten, he said to Camille, "Since you're here too, why don't we all go eat together?"

Marcus had always been occupied with work.

Whether before or after her marriage, Camille hadn't seen much of him.

But since childhood, he had always treated her kindly.

Faced with his invitation, neither Lydia nor Selene objected—their silence implying consent.

Over the many years of her marriage to Damien, Camille had gone out to eat with the Harrington family less than three times in total.

Looking back, those occasions felt like they happened ages ago.

Since she and Damien were already preparing for divorce, she didn't want to intrude on their family gathering.

So she said, "It's okay, I still have work to handle—maybe next time."

Everyone could tell she was politely declining.

Hearing this, Marcus paused and glanced at Damien.

Before Damien could respond, Chloe lowered her head in disappointment, fiddling with the small plush toy in her arms.

Damien didn't try to persuade her to stay either—he simply said, "I'll walk you out."

He wasn't just walking her out—he clearly had something to discuss.

Camille understood and said, "Thank you."

Damien turned to Chloe and said, "Chloe, go play with your Uncle Hugo for a while."

"I'll be back soon."

"Okay," Chloe replied, though her eyes still lingered longingly on Camille.

Camille saw the reluctance in her gaze, paused for a moment, and then gently ruffled her hair.

"When I have time, I'll take you out to have fun."

Chloe immediately brightened up and grabbed the hand that had patted her head.

"Okay!"
