Camille shrugged. "Meeting Selene isn't that important."

After all, just seeing her didn't guarantee any business agreement.

"You're right," Gabriel agreed. Turning to her, he asked, "Want to join me?"

"Absolutely."

They kept Selene and Levi waiting in the conference room for a while before finally making their entrance.

The moment Gabriel stepped inside, both Levi and Selene immediately stood to greet him.

Selene's expression faltered briefly when she noticed Camille walking in beside him, but she quickly masked it. After Levi exchanged pleasantries with Gabriel, she followed suit. "Good afternoon, Mr. Ashcroft."

Gabriel gave a curt nod. "Take a seat, Ms. Lancaster."

Camille's striking looks and her years at Harrington Group had left a lasting impression on Levi.

Before sitting down, he blurted, "Ms. Hartwell! It's you!"

Levi grinned. "I wondered where you'd disappeared to. So you left and joined NovaSight Labs."

Back when Camille worked at Harrington Group, they'd occasionally crossed paths professionally.

She returned his smile. "Yes, I've been here for a while now."

"That's great to hear."

Once the small talk ended, they got down to business.

Levi handed his proposal to Gabriel, and Selene did the same.

Gabriel took both documents and passed one to Camille. "Cami, review Ms. Lancaster's proposal. What do you think?"

"Sure."

Selene stiffened slightly but remained silent.

Camille flipped through the pages.

Though she wasn't a speed-reader, she processed information quickly.

Within minutes, she finished evaluating Selene's proposal.

Handing it back, she met Selene's gaze directly. "You've clearly put in effort, Ms. Lancaster. However, there are several flaws. Compared to other companies vying for NovaSight Labs's partnership, yours falls short."
