After I Walked Away, My Billionaire Ex Begged Me Back
Chapter 321: Donna Russo's Shrill Voice Pierced the Air
"Security! Stop those lunatics—"
Donna Russo's shrill voice pierced the air.
"Where's Catherine Holloway? That bitch needs to face me!"
Two days ago, Donna had arrived in the city with her son Trevor Russo.
They'd gone straight to Beacon Hill Medical Center.
After seeing Paige Lawson's weakened state on the hospital bed...
They decided to stay.
"Why waste money on hotels? This VIP ward is spacious and comfortable!" Donna declared.
A nurse timidly reminded, "But there's only one patient bed..."
"What's wrong with a mother and son sharing? We do it all the time at home!"
Trevor picked his teeth and added, "Yeah, and we save on electricity with one AC."
The hospital didn't object.
VIP wards allowed family members to stay. The fees would be deducted from the account automatically.
Paige could stay as long as needed—one extra bed made no difference.
After two days, Donna had even grown accustomed to the antiseptic smell.
But there'd been no sign of the father-to-be.
"Think hiding will make this go away? Dream on!"
"Mom, what's our move?" Trevor cracked his knuckles.
"If they won't come to us, we'll go to them!"
That morning, Paige spotted Catherine's social media post.
The photo showed an upscale hotel private dining room.
She immediately sent the address to her mother.
Mother and son stormed over without hesitation.
Catherine was observing the commotion at the front desk from a distance.
Hearing her name, she thought she'd misheard.
Until the second shriek came.
Her stomach dropped.
Seeing the front desk staff struggling to contain the hysterical woman, Catherine turned to retreat.
Just then, a server approached with a tray. "Your lemon water, Mrs. Holloway."
When she didn't respond, he repeated louder, "Mrs. Holloway?"
"Holloway?" Donna's ears perked up.
Wasn't that the surname of the man who'd knocked up her daughter?
Her eyes gleamed as she suddenly shouted, "Grant Holloway!"
Catherine instinctively turned.
"Got you!" Donna lunged, yanking Catherine's hair.
"Trying to run? My daughter's half-dead in the hospital while you're living it up?"
Before Catherine could react, Donna spat a thick glob of phlegm onto her expensive silk dress.
