Theo Marsh stood to the side, hands tucked in his lab coat pockets, silent.

Celia Monroe tilted her chin up with disdain. "A biology student daring to comment on physics experimental data? What a joke..."

Felix Moreau suddenly leaped up from his computer. "Clara was right!"

The lab fell silent.

Celia's expression froze.

Elise Warren and Theo turned simultaneously. "What?"

Felix pointed at the screen. "The initial values for Node 7 should be 50.2 and 70.88, not 50 and 71! This tiny error caused all subsequent data anomalies."

Theo rushed to the computer, recalculating rapidly. The data curve gradually normalized under his adjustments.

"It's fixed!" He slammed the desk excitedly.

Elise verified the results, her gaze turning complex when she looked at Clara.

Felix already gripped Clara's hand enthusiastically. "Thank you! This dataset stalled us for three whole days!"

Clara calmly withdrew her hand. "Just a lucky observation. Professor Marsh would've spotted it soon."

Her eyes swept across everyone present.

Elise felt a pang of guilt. For two weeks, the entire research team had maintained a subtle distance from the new intern.

To them, Clara was just a freshly graduated undergrad. A biology major, no less—how could she comprehend advanced physics experiments?
